Amazing Treehouse in the Waterline Museum
An intimate, small travel book has been created from the exhibition ‘Waanzinnige Boomhut Doe Expo’. The children’s book series ‘The Treehouse Books’ (De Waanzinnige Boomhut) is extremely popular. They are written by Andy Griffiths and illustrated by Terry Denton. Their work has received multiple awards. The ninth book is out now and the treehouse already has 117 floors! Andy and Terry bring the most incredibly imaginative adventures to life.
There are basking sharks, a banana enlarger, a time machine, a giant spider web and vegetables that make human soup. Andy and Terry have the craziest adventures and also try to get their books ready on time!
Children can expend their energy on various outdoor play objects at the large site of Fort bij Vechten. The exhibition challenges children to play, work together and step into the world of books, as well as imagining their own crazy stories. So what are you waiting for? Come and visit the Waterline Museum!
