Shopping in the centre of Wijk bij Duurstede is always appealing. The range is varied: speciality shops, fresh food stores, artisan sole traders, chain stores and galleries. The shopkeepers are welcoming and the atmosphere is nice and cosy. Free parking in various places in and around the town centre is another important bonus. All this, combined with the beautifully maintained, often monumental buildings and many restaurants, cafés and terraces make shopping in Wijk bij Duurstede a rewarding activity!

On Wednesday mornings until 1 p.m., there's a weekly market on the marketplace.

The slogan of Het Rond is 'Everything's nearby'. With 140 shops, the town centre of Houten offers a wide variety of goods. There's a separate covered area for daily fresh food, bakery, butcher, greengrocer, fishmonger and cooking shop - the Vershof. The centre has a wide variety of women's and men's fashion stores and large chains that have a branch in the mall. The many restaurants and terraces ensure a cosy and entertaining ambiance.

Ample parking available is available in the two car parks: Spoorhaag (220 spaces) and Kruitmolen (450 spaces). The first two hours of parking is free at the expense of the local businesses!

On Thursdays until 4 p.m., there's a weekly market on the square.
Every Friday evening, there's late shopping until 9 p.m.

In Bunnik, it's fun to shop in the mall. Friday evening is shopping evening! There's a twice-weekly market in the municipality of Bunnik, on Wednesdays from 9 a.m, to 1 p.m. on the Meent and on Fridays from 8 a.m, to 1 p.m. on Langstraat.
